How to update badge information if there is a name change

Personnel changes happen in every organization. The key is knowing when and how to make badge changes to ensure accurate dose history is maintained. In this article, we will show you when and how to change the name on badges, and when to you'll need create a new wearer altogether. 

What is considered a name change? 

I need to update the name on a badge for the same wearer. What do I do?

  1. Login to MyRadCare and access your subscription details under the "Wearers" tab.
  2. Select the appropriate group you wish to make changes to. If there is only one group listed in the account, that group will automatically be selected.
  3. Select the wearer you would like to change and update the appropriate name fields in the pop-up dialogue box, ensuring that the Wearer Status is "Active" and hit SAVE.

    That's it! The new name will now be listed under the "Active Wearers" list and the change will be reflected in the next badge shipment.

I have a change of wearer. What do I do?

  1. Follow the steps in this article to add the new wearer 
  2. Follow the steps in this article to remove the old wearer
  3. Changes will be reflected for all future shipments

Have an extra or unused badge for the current cycle? You can always reassign a badge that has already been issued using the instructions in this article

By creating a new wearer and removing the old one, you'll ensure that a new PIN is generated so that any dose history remains true to the person who actually received it.
