Why do I have a report for a set of badges that the wear period has not ended?

Once the badges are received, they undergo preparation and are then sent to our lab for reading. Subsequently, a dosimetry report is generated and published on MyRadCare. It is important to note that unless otherwise specified, all returned badges follow this process.

If a badge is returned before the end of the wear period, it will be read and a report will be created.

Once the remaining badges are received, an updated report will be generated that includes the readings for all the other badges that have been returned.

The common reason for this is when a badge previously worn by someone else is returned because it is no longer needed. You can easily check if a badge was returned early by referring to the "Issued Badges Summary" on the Wearers tab.
