Returning Badges with EasyReturns

Learn how to enroll in and return badges with the EasyReturns program

What is EasyReturns?

EasyReturns is a program that allows customers to opt in to receive a prepaid postage label with each shipment, making the badge return process quick and convenient.

How does is work?

Once enrolled in EasyReturns, each shipment will include a pre-printed label along with the return packing included in your shipment. Just toss your used badges in the return envelope, apply the return label to the packaging, seal, and mail back. For UPS Mail Innovations returns, tender your package to any United States Postal Service location. Postal locations include your own mailbox, your local Post Office, postal collection boxes, or any other United States Postal Service collection point. You may also schedule a free postal carrier pickup at http://carrierpickup.usps.com. For UPS grounds returns, use any designated UPS drop-off locations or UPS Pickup Services.

Note: If your shipment came in a box, a return postage label will be included as a loose item in your shipment. Just peel and stick it on the same box when you are ready to return your badges! Be sure to cover up any old labels and barcodes.

What are my options?

EasyReturns options are available based on the number of badges in each shipment. A shipment is defined as a single package that is sent to one location. For multi-group accounts shipping to the same address, total all badges in the account to determine EasyReturns options. For multi-group accounts shipping to different locations, use the badge quantity for each address to determine options. EasyReturns options are as follows:

  1. UPS Mail Innovations (1-30 badges): Delivery Time 2-7 business days
  2. UPS Ground (1-30 badges): Delivery Time 1-5 business days
  3. UPS Ground (31-128 badges): Delivery Time: 1-5 business days
  4. UPS Ground (129+ badges): Delivery Time 1-5 business days

Once enrolled in EasyReturns, your account will be billed for each shipment that is mailed with prepaid return shipping labels included. For shipments with badge quantities under 31, you can choose to set your account to default to either UPS Mail Innovations or UPS Ground shipping. Shipments that exceed 30 badges will automatically default to UPS Ground shipping at the appropriate rate.

How can I enroll in EasyReturns?

You can enroll in the EasyReturns program by enrolling in our Easy Return program or by contacting our Customer Care team at customercare@radetco.com or by phone at 512-831-7000. Be sure to mention the preferred service type (for shipments between 1-30 badges), and note that shipping charges will be invoiced or deducted from your prepaid account upon shipment.

Where do I drop off my shipments?

UPS is continually adding new locations that act as "drop-off" locations, making it very convenient to get your badges sent back to us. Simply type in your zip code here to find one of the many locations near you.

For UPS Mail Innovations, you can also drop your package off at any United States Postal Service location. Postal locations include your own mailbox, your local Post Office, postal collection boxes, or any other United States Postal Service collection point. You may also schedule a free postal carrier pickup at http://carrierpickup.usps.com.

Where can I find tracking for my shipment once I send it back?

Simply visit www.ups.com and enter your tracking number.

I lost my label. How can I get a replacement?

Contact our Customer Care team at customercare@radetco.com or by phone at 512-831-7000 to order a replacement label. You'll need to provide your account number and the shipment number associated with the label that was lost. (Your shipment number can be found in MyRadCare.) If the lost label is found and used at a later date, your account will be charged for the return shipping costs based on the shipment service type provided.

I found badges that I need to send back. How can I order a label before my next shipment?

Contact our Customer Care team at customercare@radetco.com or by phone at 512-831-7000 to purchase additional labels. You'll need to let us know the number of badges being returned and the preferred service type (for shipments between 1-30 badges). Charges will be invoiced or deducted from your prepaid account based on service type.

What if I'm outside the contiguous US?

Unfortunately, the Easy Returns program can only be offered to customers within the contiguous US. For International accounts or accounts located in Alaska, Hawaii, or US Territories, please return badges using appropriate shipping methods and remember to apply the correct amount of postage to prevent unnecessary delays. No additional shipping charges will be billed for returning badges to be processed in our lab.

What if I don't want to enroll in EasyReturns? How do I send back my badges?

Easy Returns is an additional service we offer as a convenience for our customers, and is not a required program. If you prefer to manage the return process on your own, simply apply the appropriate postage to your shipment based on current rates and mail it back to our processing lab at:

Radiation Detection Company

3527 Snead Drive

Georgetown, TX 78626

Heads up: When calculating postage, note that the poly-mailer envelopes and boxes are considered packages/parcels, not letters or large envelopes. Packages with insufficient postage may be delayed by the carrier, resulting in Insufficient Postage Fees and Unreturned Badge Fees if received after the return period.
