Understand the fetal monitoring requirement and the process to get a fetal badge ordered.
Pregnant Radiation workers who have declared their pregnancy in writing to the RSO must be assigned a fetal monitor and may not exceed 500 mrem for the entire gestational period. The dosimeter badge should be worn directly over the Fetal area in order to receive the most accurate reading on my Dose Report.
Fetal monitors must be reviewed on a monthly basis. If you do not currently receive badges on a monthly basis, please contact Customer Care at customercare@radetco.com or 512-831-7000 Ext.2 to get a fetal monitor added to your account.
