What happens if I lose a dosimeter?

If a dosimeter is lost there is a way to unassign it and change its status

If you require a replacement dosimeter, please contact RDC technical support at digitalsupport@radetco.com as soon as possible to start the replacement process. 

Mark the dosimeter as lost in the NetDose Web UI software by clicking on the dosimeter and selecting 'Set 'Lost' or 'Malfunctioning' status' option.  This will unassign it from the wearer and end the dose record associated with the device. This will allow you to assign the wearer a new dosimeter.

NOTE: Marking a dosimeter as lost can only be performed by an administrator and this process cannot be reversed.

Replacement dosimeters will be provided free of charge. However, fees may apply for lost or unreturned dosimeters if the device cannot be recovered.
