Did you check the status of your dosimeter by pressing the blue button? Didn't get a green status LED? Let's talk about it!
Pressing the blue button on the dosimeter without holding it will display the device's status using the LED light. A normally functioning dosimeter will display a briefly flashing green light.
When the button is pressed, if the light does not turn on, the device will need to be exchanged with RDC. Please click here for more details regarding the exchange of devices. If the light is any other color than green, there could be a few things going on. Most importantly, it could be a dose threshold alert or a malfunction and should be investigated. NOTE: Please remember, if you hold the button down for three seconds, the device will attempt to sync with a mobile app. It will display a sequence of LED colors (green, amber, blue) as it attempts the connection. This is not the same as checking the status as described above.
