Setting up your dosimetry program

You've received your dosimeters and you've performed your initial sync, now what?

NetDose Provides Program Customization

When setting up your digital dosimetry program, it is important to carefully consider how you want to customize your program to best suit your needs.

First, determine if individuals will retain their dosimeters when not in radiation areas or if they should be deposited in a central location for safekeeping. Please click here for more information regarding the management of the dosimeter device(s).

Second, decide how dosimeter synchronization will take place - if each person will be responsible for synchronizing their own dosimeter or if a designated individual will manage the synchronization process for all dosimeters. Please click here for more information regarding dosimeter syncing.

You should also decide if everyone will use their own mobile device to sync or if a designated device will be used.  Detailed instructions regarding the pairing and syncing devices with the mobile app can be found in the Quick Start Guide. Be sure to review if you have not already.

Third, ensure that your dosimeters are configured for EDE (Effective Dose Equivalent) calculations if required. Please click here for more information.

Last, prepare your wearers for a digital dosimetry program by relaying the information about the configuration of the new program. Click here to see how wearers should wear the dosimeter and perform synchronization (if you choose to have wearer perform the sync step in your program).
