How do I return and/or exchange dosimeters

If you have a need to return dosimeters to RDC for any reason, we are here to help!

If you need to return or exchange dosimeters for any reason, please contact Technical Support at digitalsupport@radetco.com. After you contact Technical Support, we will work with you over the phone or email to understand your need to return the product, provide an RMA (return material authorization) number, provide shipping labels if applicable, and initiate replacement of your dosimeter(s) if necessary.  

You will receive an email when your exchange devices ship to you (if applicable) and when we receive your returned dosimeters.

To return dosimeters to RDC, please follow the steps below:

  1. Contact RDC digital support using the 'Contact Us' form, email digitalsupport@radetco.com, or call 1-512-377-9289.
  2. Provide the support team with the serial numbers of the devices you wish to return.  The device serial number is printed on the label on the back of the device and can also be found in the NetDose Web UI in the 'Devices' menu.
  3. The support team will provide you with an RMA number that must be written on the outside of the shipment. This number may be included as a note on the shipping label, so long as it is visible on the printed label. You must receive an RMA number from Technical Support before returning any dosimeters for any reason. Returning dosimeters without an RMA number will delay processing of your service request and will not initiate the exchange process if you require replacement dosimeters. 
  4. If you require replacement devices, the replacement shipment process with be initiated at this time.
  5. Package your dosimeters appropriately to avoid damage during shipment.  Due to the lithium batteries inside the devices, they must be packaged inside of a box, not a bag or envelope. 
  6. If you are generating your own shipping labels, the devices must be shipped by a service that has tracking capabilities. 
  7. A UN3091 label must be on the outside of the box.

  8. Be sure package has RMA number visible from the outside.
  9. Ship your package and we will take care of the rest!
