How do I modify a recorded dose?

Real world events can cause a discrepancy between what the dosimeter read, and the actual exposure of the wearer. No problem! You can adjust the dose record.

If you are informed that a dosimeter was not worn when it should have been, the dosimeter was exposed to a radiation source when not being worn, or if you saw data in the occupational radiation exposure report or other report that is incorrect for whatever reason, you can submit a request to have the dose record modified.

NOTE: You must be an administrator to submit requests.

Finding Dose Records

You will first need to locate the dose record you wish to modify.  To do this, navigate to the Dose Read History Report in the Web UI:

Report2-1After selecting the report, the screen will show all users that have a dose read history in the database for the default monitoring period. The default period is the first of the current month to the current day.

If the dose data you are trying to modify occurred outside of the default range, you will need to change the monitoring period by clicking the filter option in the table and choosing the required date range. Clicking the filter option will open fields containing the date range.  Clicking on the dates will open calendar that will let you select new dates.

You can scroll through the table until you find the record that needs to be adjusted by looking at the monitoring period that covers the event and/or by looking for the dose values that need to be modified.

You can narrow your search by using the filter options for the user's name, device serial number, etc.  The filter fields are case sensitive.

By default, the report opens on the 'Daily Dose' tab, if you are collecting detailed dose information, you can also select the 'Detailed Dose' tab at the top of the report to see more detail in the dose record if required.
