Basic overview of the feature and FAQ's
What is the purpose of Dose Assignments?
- Dose Assignments was built to give RSOs and program administrators a streamlined, auditable way to assign estimated dose values when a dosimeter is lost, damaged, or unreturned. Today, this process is largely manual—handled through phone calls, emails, or paper forms—which creates compliance risk, slows down processing, and makes audit trails difficult to reconstruct.
Dose Assignments offers:
- A self-service digital option for submitting dose assignment requests directly via MyRadCare
- Easily input dose data without the need to contact RDC or complete and submit a form
- Full audit trail of every dose assignment request, including who submitted it, when, and what values were used
- Quickly resolve for missing or lost badges scenarios by submitting it yourself. Allowing dose report to remain on track
- Integration with existing dose records so assigned values are reflected in reports and within MyRadCare Insights
How does Dose Assignments work?
- The system presents historical dose information to support determining an appropriate assignment. You may either accept the system-generated recommendation or enter an alternative value based on their professional judgment.
- Once RDC reviews and approves the assignment, the value is applied as the wearers official dose of record.
Can an assignment be changed after submission?
