I am returning my badges, and there are a few that have been misplaced/lost. Do I need to notify RDC of badges that are lost and will not be returned?

If you are unable to return a lost badge, there is no need for you to take any further action. However, it is important to keep a few key points in mind.

  • RDC will send you automatic notifications reminding you to return your badges. If a badge is lost and cannot be returned, you will receive up to two reminders about the missing badge. You can choose to disregard these notifications, as they cannot be disabled.
  • If the badge is not returned by the end of the grace period, your account will incur a one-time unreturned badge fee for each badge that remains unreturned.
  • If you find and return a badge after the grace period has ended, your account will receive a partial credit for each badge that is returned.
  • For any badges that are not returned, the wear period report will not include dose information. Instead, a note labeled "UNR" will indicate that the badges were not received.
